Summary: This study was, comparative between four different diameters from platforms of you implant with connection by external hexagon of 0.7 mm of height, (3.45 mm, 4 mm, 5mm and 6.5 mm), with abutment preformed straight and angle the 15°. For the verifications, two methods were used: computerized by finite elements and mechanical tests with compression machine. The used materials consisted of two stainless steel bases, one for the tests with straight abutment and the other for angled abutment; on that the sets were placed: analogs of you implant, straight abutment or angled abutment in 15° and screws of fixation, on that a chromium-nickel nose cap was placed to simulate the rehabilitation. Centered axial loads in the axis were applied of implants and axial eccentric to 4 mm of the center. The intensity ascended from 0 N to 800 N, being observed the behavior of each set. Those of diameter 3.45 mm and 4 mm did not support loads put off center in any abutment, only of 4 mm did it in on the internal side. The sets of 5 mm and 6.5 mm supported the fully factored loads in the straight and the angled abutment on the internal side. Where as they did not do it on the external side. In all the sets there was inappreciable separation in the interface, but measurement by the method of finite elements. The fatigue of the material of the fixation screw was limited 21.200 and 23.800 cycles, equivalent to 14.73 and 16.53 days respectively. We concluded in which the stability depends on the location of the loads in the oclusales faces and their relation with the diameter of the platform. We could establish an equation to obtain this stability, and to propose a strict and meticulous protocol of selection of the diameter of platform.
